Hello

Does someone know whether the extension pack from sles 8 is also
"officially" supported with SLES 9 and Domino 7. Or is there an eventual
update availble??? Enclosed the link to the "official" version under
sles 8. http://www.novell.com/products/linuxenterpriseserver8/domino.html

Regards
Markus

As I understand it, SLES 9 has no need for any "extension pack" since
the 2.6 kernel in SLES 9 has, by default, all the features which the
extension pack tries to add to the 2.4 kernel in SLES 8.

The link below does not work currently. I found the following:
http://www.suse.de//en/business/products/server/sles8/domino.html

The double slash after http://www.suse.de is required, it does not work
without.

I don't believe the extension pack is needed for SLES9 and Domino 7.

You may wish to find out what changes have been made to Domino 7 before
using "outdated" methods of getting SLES to work with it. There are a huge
number of changes in D7 to provide greater scalability, particularly with
SLES9.

Are you going to Lotusphere?

Well it's a starting script for D5/6. You just throw away the Domino 5/6
part that sets the kernel parameters and be happy with D7 :-)
