Domino HTTP service on SLES 9 box [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]

Morning everyone,

I'm hoping someone can give me a solution to a problem I'm having. I'm
trying to run the domino http service on a SuSE 9 Linux box, unfortunately
even though I've disabled the firewall, apache, and our virus checker
(Trend Micro) ... I'm still unable to get the domino http service to run.
Have a missed a service that linux has in the background? ... Any advice
would be great.

Thanks, Paul

Does

netstat -an | grep 80

give back any other service related?

If you have any other Web-Task running on any other webport on the same
box, you have to tell Domino...

If you type "load http" on server console, what does it say?

Do you have multiple networks cards on your Suse box?

Did you bind the http task to the hostname in Domino server document?

Could you send me your notes.ini file?

Regards.

Good day,

What messages do you get in the domino log?
Do you have something like this in your notes.ini:
HTTPNotesPort=[portname]
Do you defin the http in the server document or in a site document?

Regards,
Peter Vynck
